What is difference between N20 and N30 gear motor?
N20 and N30 gear motors differ mainly in size and power. N20 motor is smaller and suitable for compact applications, while the N30 motor, offers more power and higher torque. The N30 is ideal for tasks needing extra strength, unlike the space-efficient N20. Both operate on similar voltages but the N30 has a higher current draw due to its larger size.

I use this 6v gear motor as small rotating photo tables powered by a variable voltage DC power supply. The beauty of these motors is their high gear ratios make them operate stably at even a fraction of their rated 12 volts. Lower voltage makes them rotate substantially slower, so you essentially have a variable speed turn table.

You can’t beat these little micro dc gear motors for the power. I got a 96 RPM, a 145 RPM and I just ordered a 285 RPM. This is a great little motor, and well made. Be sure to check the voltage as these motors do come in various voltages and gear ratio’s. So far I’m very happy with them.
