Lra motor (Also call it lra actuator,) is the most popular for haptic applications. NFP motor has an internal mass, the resonant frequency oscillates back and forth along the X axis, the structure is simple, and it has a long service life.
- The rated frequency, the motor stabilizes vibration, and the frequency point corresponding to the peak-to-peak value of the acceleration curve is the largest.
- Low temperature vibration is min 1.5Grms (-10°C conditions, rated voltage, the acceleration of the motor when the vibration is stable).

They are an excellent alternative to brushless vibration motors as the only internal parts that are subjected to wear / failure are the springs. Unlike conventional brushed DC vibration motors, lra vibration motor must be driven by an AC signal at the devices resonant frequency.
The frequency of vibration is fixed at the LRA’s resonant frequency which in the case of our 2 LRA’s is either 180 or 200Hz.
