Several Tiny Motors Vibrating Belt for Better Balance

A vibrating belt--wearable appliance. Intended to provide alleviation or compensation for people suffering from severe balance disorders by helping them finding their balance and regaining their independence. The BalanceBelt senses the position of the user’s body in space, using what's called motors' vibrotactile feedback, the "balance belt" warns wearers with vibrating alerting when they are about to tip too far in any direction. The balance belt falls somewhere in-between, it doesn't physically keep wearers from falling, but provides perceptible vibrating cues when the wearer seems liable to fall.
Haptics technologies help physical therapy patients. BalanceBelt described a such subtle portabe device--basically "tactile alarm" to the sensory system, haptic feedback would improve the sense of balance automatically.

How Does the BalanceBelt Work?

Positioned in the belt worn around the waist, BalanceBelt has over ten micro vibrating motors model NFP-WS0825 placed around its circumference that give off haptic feedback when the wearer is about to lose their balance. Thanks to the improved information on their posture, the wearer of the belt subconsciously corrects their posture themselves.
After activating the BalanceBelt, it will independently adjust to the 'neutral position'—your preferred posture for walking, standing, or sitting, typically when you are standing straight or seated. Deviating from this 'neutral position' triggers vibrations from the BalanceBelt. It is essential to pause until the BalanceBelt ceases vibrating when you transition from standing to sitting, prior to beginning your walk. This pause allows the BalanceBelt to redefine the 'neutral position'. It is advised to wear the BalanceBelt around your waist, ideally over a foundational garment like a t-shirt.

BalanceBelt Comes with Brushless Vibrating Motors Built in All Around

Severe Bilateral Vestibular Loss (BVL) is a condition where the inner ear's balance organs are significantly impaired or non-functional. This leads to a lack of essential information for maintaining equilibrium, resulting in severe difficulties in managing body orientation in space, causing notable issues with balance and mobility. Patients with BVL often struggle to move around or engage in physical activities on their own, which can contribute to feelings of isolation and negatively affect their overall health.
The BalanceBelt is equipped with a series of small vibration motors (also known as tractors or vibrators). It detects the wearer's tilting direction and provides vibratory feedback to enhance the sense of body positioning. This sensory input is processed by the wearer's brain, allowing for automatic posture correction and balance improvement without the need for the wearer to consciously focus on the feedback.
